Rowan Big Wool Cabled Sweater

Originally this sweater, I frogged it because the deep v-neck design was not practical for Toronto weather. Then I found this design in Vogue knitting, which used the exact same number of Rowan Big Wool. After trying to make the ruffle work (reknit it 2 times using different colors), I eventually ripped off the ruffle and crochet an big wool edging (imagine without the white fluffy stuff).

Source: Cabled Sweater #11 from Vogue Knitting Fall 2005
Yarn: Rowan Big Wool (70m at 100g; 100% merino wool); 6 skeins; 10mm + Rowan Kid Silk Haze (210m at 25g; 70% Super Kid Mohair, 30% Seta Silk); 2.5 skeins; 10mm
Modifications: Some of the yarn decreases were incorrect, I used ssk instead of k2tog for the right hand decreases

For: myself :)
