Ava

I love Rowan and not surprisingly I *LOVE* this yarn. It's ribbon plied with wool. So soft and edgy but not all ribbon-looking.

It's fast to knit, pretty and warm. Also asymetrical in a "je ne sais quoi" kinda way. Instant gratification!! I LOVE IT!!

Yarn: Rowan Ribbon Twist (60m at 100g; 70% Wool, 25% Acrylic, 5% Poly); 4 skeins in a black wook with pink ribbon; 12mm

Mohair Flower Basket Shawl

This is my very first lace project. Instead of using lace or fingering weight yarn, I found some mohair in the stash and made this. The larger gauge was perfect for a beginner lace project although the end product is very fuzzy and it sheds on anything and everything it touches... still, it's kinda pretty.

*I just began blocking it to death, better picture will follow*

Yarn: Hayfield 80% Luxury Mohair (101m at 50g; 80% Mohair; 10% Acrylic; 10% Nylon); 3 skeins in millstone; 5.5mm

Modifications: Yarn and needle size, I'm not sure if I added or subtracted repeats, I lost count in the ball of fuzz
